Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day was ok in our house. It didn't turn out how I was hoping. DH came home from work with 10 roses (a guy at his work asked him if he could have a couple for his wife, so DH gave him 2). I made a really yummmy dinner of pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and homemade bread in the bread machine. We had a candlelight dinner after the kids went to bed (we put them to bed a little earlier than normal). I also bought a Carvel ice cream cake for dessert. I was the only one to have dessert. DH was too full from dinner. DH wasn't really feeling well - he has a head cold - so I didn't "get any" last night =( After dinner we watched, American Idol and Dog the Bounty Hunter and then went to bed.
DH is staying home from work today cause he says he feels so yucky. He also says he is cold - so I am going to have him take his temp when he wakes up - he might have a fever. He needs to get better and I can't get it, because we have a dinner dance to go to on Saturday night. We are staying at the hotel for the night. I have a feeling I might get a little drunk- since we don't have to drive any where. My mom is coming to our house to watch the kids for the night. I am really looking forward to dressing up and spending some time away from the kids. This event is through DH's work so we will know quite a few people, so it will be a lot of fun!

Aww Sorry DH isn't feeling well. Sounds like you had a nice Valentine's day. I hope he feels better and that you don't get it. I know how you have been looking forward to going out this weekend.
